Our clients bought a property in New Road, Esher, Surrey. The house itself was a dilapidated bungalow, which our clients were set on demolishing in order to build a new home that would support their needs as an energetic family of five. They were also looking to see a fabulous return on investment. The site itself was perfect in that it was located down a long driveway, so obscured from the road giving it the coveted privacy that a house of the pedigree we were planning deserves. Also, rather marvellously, it has a lake at the bottom of the garden and so ‘Lakeside’ was born.
 
We were the first to be appointed to the project, and through a series of creative, front-end workshops, we quickly established the style and vernacular of the house. We were involved at every stage of the project to fully realise the clients' objectives. It was a wonderful project to be involved in and we were thrilled with the final results.

  • Architectural Interior Design

    Our client was after a new build rooted in the Georgian vernacular. 'Lakeside' was born and I am proud to say that we worked on both the architecture and the interior design to deliver a home that works from the inside out and the outside in.

  • We created this sunken seating area, and had the sofas made to fit the space perfectly. The bespoke coffee table in the centre provides the perfect store for board games, books and secret charge zones.

  • We designed and installed this bar; the centre piece of this generous, open space.

  • Working on the design of the kitchen from inception meant that we could offer up a solution that worked seamlessly both with the architecture of the house and the other spaces that it is connected to. The Kitchen, bar, breakfast bar and sunken seating area work harmoniously, yet separately in this large open plan area.
