Liz Bell
BIID President Elect
Liz is an experienced Registered Interior Designer®, with a background in architecture.
As a council Director of the British Institute of Interior Design and Chair of the Sustainability Committee, she helps to steer policy and strategy- encouraging and enabling the industry to improve its ecological impact. Liz oversaw the writing of the BIID’s updated 2021 Code of Conduct and development of the Sustainable Specifying Guide.
In 2014, Liz began work with Absolute Project Management (APM) a small London based firm specialising in residential interior design and project management. Over the next 10 years Liz progressed to Design Director and was forefront in growing the business with Founder Cat Hoad. In 2024 took over APM as Owner and Director.
She oversees and heads multiple projects, bringing value to clients both in the ease of implementation and the lasting success of a space. She administers up to date training (on both regulatory elements and successful design outcomes and trends) for the team and enjoys delivering excellent quality designs and renovation projects- no matter the size.
As a leader in her field, she regularly speaks at, or is invited to events- ensuring the latest innovations, technologies and design considerations are instilled in the business and applied to client projects.
