This London home was completely refurbished transforming the existing interior spaces into a modern canvas of luxury and in contrast to the exterior Victorian shell. Wilkinson Beven worked in partnership with 23 Architecture from the initial planning stages combining interior planning with the addition of modern extension pods providing new living areas off the original core, new and old separated by minimal glass details, textural brickwork and grey steel cladding forming the palette for all new build elements softened by the landscape.

    The formality of centralised grand doors allowed the living room to adopt a central grouping within the minimal interior core palette yet with the use of shaped upholstery, injections of colour and chic industrial lighting our team transform the existing shell into a post deco inspired interior. The clients personal art collection alongside fabrics and furnishings enhance the interior feel with warm tones and textures.

    Family dining sits within a giant volume of the main house, a unique parquet design breaks the main floor finish allowing the table to be grounded on the mix of darker timber hues with metallic boards.
