Comprehensive Insect Control for Lakeside Living

This expansive lakeside property required a robust solution to keep waterborne insects at bay, and Phantom Screens delivered with precision. All screens were fitted externally to provide full insect control, preventing even the smallest bugs from entering the home.

1. A Tailored Approach: Automated Power Screens

The installation included a 10-meter power screen facing the lake and deck, providing uninterrupted views and bug-free enjoyment of the outdoors. In addition, 10 other power screens were installed across various openings, with nine Serene window screens fitted to tilt-and-turn windows.

Of the 10 Power Screens, eight were externally mounted with full colour-matched powder-coated headboxes. This ensured a seamless blend with the property’s aesthetic. The remaining three Power Screens, including the main 10-meter screen, were cleverly hidden in timber-clad pockets.

2. Collaboration with Developers: Sleek and Discreet Integration

To achieve a sleek, modern finish, we collaborated closely with the lakeside developers’ technical design team. Together, we designed and installed the three power screens in custom timber pockets. This innovative approach allows the screens to disappear completely when not in use, maintaining the home’s clean lines and uninterrupted views.

The fine insect mesh used in all screens does not impede the stunning views of the lake – a crucial feature for waterside living.
