Anne Haimes were asked to bring this stunning period property, which was designed by a student of the famous Architect Edwin Lutyens, into the 21st century. It was very important in the design that whilst giving the home a modern and elegant feel, the original architecture and features were honoured.

The double height main entrance and reception room creates a stunning first impression.  The room boasts a large south facing window which floods the space with natural daylight.  We complimented this light and sunny space with bright and bold colours for both the furniture and fabrics, with statement pieces such as the bespoke orange velvet sofas and buttoned Italian leather footstall taking pride of place.

The bedrooms follow a feminine colour palette, with the furniture and furnishings complimenting the warmth of the natural oak.

Within the bathrooms clever space planning was adopted to take advantage of the complicated area under the eaves.  Polished plaster contrasts with the marble floor creating a masculine feel to the space, whilst the copper bath makes a stunning statement.
