Mid Weight Interior Designer

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Interior designer with 3+ years of experience in a design studio. The ideal applicant will be confident running their own projects and experienced in creating beautiful and functional spaces for property developers and private clients. This role demands good organisational skills, design expertise, innovation and alignment with the Tilehouse Studio aesthetic. We are open to hiring designers who have only previously worked at a Junior level, if we feel that they are strongly compatible with our company’s ethos and have lots of potential. 

Skills & Experience 

- 3+years of industry experience. 

- Experience in running of own projects. 

- Excellent skills to communicate drawings to clients, contractors and suppliers. 

- Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Auto Cad. 

- Excellent knowledge of UK specific suppliers of furniture, fabrics and hard finishes. 

Personal Skills 

- Proactive, adaptable and flexible with a hands-on work ethic and a can-do attitude. 

- Extremely organised and thorough. 

- Imaginative and resourceful with a keen eye for detail. 

- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly when building relationships with clients,
contractors and suppliers. 

- A full, clean UK driving licence and a willingness to travel is essential.  

Responsibilities 

- Manage the development of your own projects. 

- Manage projects within budget (using EstiMAC). 

- Design bespoke joinery with excellent technical skills. 

- Keep specifications, schedules and sampling up to date across the timeline of a project. 

- Contribute to presentations and pitches for projects. 

- Have strong communication skills and unwavering ability to multitask across multiple 
projects. 

- Good sense of humour
