Job Description
An exciting new role has become available as a result of expansion within our Oxfordshire Studio.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced interior designer with a proven background of working in the high-end residential sector. You will be expected to lead projects from initial concept through to final installation. Proven experience delivering projects in London and the Home Counties and working directly with HNWI clients is essential.
Working alongside our Architectural, Landscape Design and Project Management divisions, the HollandGreen Interior Design team has grown from strength to strength and has developed an incredible portfolio of high-end projects in the UK. We are now looking for an energetic and self-motivated Mid-weight or Senior Interior Designer who would relish the challenge of taking on this key role in driving and developing the reputation of this emerging Studio.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on some exceptional projects and be pivotal in the growth and development of our company, building the profile and brand that is HollandGreen.
This is a full-time position. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Working/leading national & international projects from initial brief through to installation - Producing accurate concept and detail design drawings to present to both clients & contractors
- Working on all FF&E stages (extensive procurement experience essential)
- Creating detailed specifications & budgets
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time & on budget
- Managing & mentoring junior designers when required
- Liaising directly with clients, contractors & suppliers
- Project management experience on all stages
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience working on luxury residential & commercial/hospitality projects - Outstanding people management skills
- Impeccable client facing abilities & experience
- Ability to build strong work relationships, internally & externally
- Excellent communication skills & proficiency in English both written & spoken
- Highly driven & self-motivated
- Excellent skills in concept development, space planning & FF&E
- Project management & budgeting control experience including procurement
- Experience producing detailed drawings, schedules & specifications
- Proven experience liaising with contractors, suppliers & third parties
- Proven experience working with listed & heritage properties
- Ability to read, understand & correct technical drawings along with strong drawing skills - Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator & Microsoft Office
- Proficient in EstiPC software - Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential
