This stunning open plan contemporary home in Henley-on-Thames was purchased by our clients as their main UK residence. We were briefed to create an interior scheme to add warmth and personality, provide spaces that facilitate both family gatherings and quieter, cosy spaces for study and movie watching.

  • Open plan dining area

    The open plan dining area connects the kitchen with the main living room. Colour and texture tie the spaces visually together and add warmth and softness. We designed the extra large walnut island unit with integrated lighting and storage as a great social hub and co-ordinated the dining table for more formal dining. Quality craftsmanship and solid natural materials add a timeless yet contemporary air. Our clients colourful and eclectic art pieces guide the accent colours and personalise this impressive family home.

  • Cosy TV room

    For the media room, we designed a walnut clad feature wall which incorporates a new minimal and stream lined fireplace. Furniture was chosen to add rich tones and jewel like accents to compliment artwork and accessories.

  • Warm tones for the media room

    Keeping the palette dark for the media room , we designed a full wall length bookcase and chose a deep prune colour for the sumptuous sofa, and painted the walls in a pink hue.

  • Open plan dining area

    Oak and cement flooring create zones within the open plan layout. We added a grey polished plaster to the main feature wall and incorporated a fireplace and layered lighting.

  • Double height kitchen

    Light, airy and decorative pendant lights were chosen to add interest yet still allowing for uninterrupted views. In the evenings the spaces are magical due to well considered layered lighting and zoning.

  • Making and entrance

    Working with our clients bold artwork we created a welcoming focal point in the light and airy entrance hall.
