Multifunctional Family Space

Transformed a Victorian property ground floor into a multifunctional family space. We were brought in at the beginning of the full-house renovation project to help make the kitchen into a central space that seamlessly connected all the rooms.

Our pared back Shaker cabinetry gave a gentle nod to the period of the home and we elevated the design with crisp, modern detailing. A dark blue colour was chosen for the low-level cabinets and a paler colour for the tall cabinets, along with a shadow gap at the top of the tall pantry cupboards to accentuate the room height. The simple design of the cooker hood canopy and white floating shelves maximise the generous natural light.  The client wanted a clean and contemporary look for all the appliances. We recommended an all-appliance tie-in and specified Fisher & Paykel throughout including a dual fuel double width cooker, a French Door Fridge Freezer, tall wine cooler and two integrated dishwashers.
