Julie Kent (1959 - 2021)
In memoriam
Julie Kent was the Founder and MD of Julie Kent Interiors who have been in business for 40 years. Her design ethos and passion lives on as her business continues to thrive in the West Country.
She was educated at Millfield School and trained in interior architecture and design at the Inchbald School of Design, London and was a longstanding and active Registered Member of the British Institute of Interior Design (1987-2021).
Born into a property development and residential house building family, Julie quickly gained a reputation as a talented designer and became a very experienced interiors project director of new-build to Grade 1 period properties, in the UK and abroad.
For those who knew and worked with Julie, she will be remembered for being fun. She liked nothing more than being on site with clients rather than getting bogged down with office admin!
The family will be holding a private cremation and they ask that if anyone would like to make a donation, to do so to Dorothy House Hospice Bath (www.dorothyhouse.org ref Julie Kent) or Cancer Research UK.
Julie’s family and friends would love to hear from friends and colleagues of Julie’s with memories of her. Please contact info@biid.org.uk with your remembrances.
