UKTI Interiors Mission to Japan
BIID
Member Noriko Sawayama is working with UKTI to organise an interior design
mission to Japan this November. Japan’s inbound tourism has doubled over the
past 2 years and is expected to double again by the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
This means a huge increase in the number of hotels being built, and
opportunities for UK designers to be involved in these exciting hospitality
developments.
Noriko would like to talk to interior designers with previous
hospitality experience about participating in the mission. The mission will
include an invitation for the interior designers to speak at a special event at
the British Ambassador’s residence in Tokyo to an audience of around 200
invitees from the hospitality and property development sectors.
This opportunity has now closed due to overwhelming popular demand. If you would like to register your interest and join a waiting list, please contact the BIID office on 0207 628 0255 or email info@biid.org.uk.
