BIID Hosting 60th Anniversary Afternoon Tea for Volunteers

Have you volunteered for the BIID? We want to say thank you!

 As we celebrate 60 years of the BIID, we would like to take a moment to recognise and thank the dedicated volunteers who help make everything we do possible.

We are hosting a special Afternoon Tea in honour of their valued contributions to the Institute. This exclusive invitation-only event is our way of saying thank you for the time, expertise and enthusiasm they've shared with the BIID.

Who are our volunteers?

From overseeing the financial efficiency  and directing strategic plans to speaking on panels at events, volunteers are at the heart of the BIID. Some examples of volunteer activities include:

  • Director on the BIID Council
  • BIID Regional Ambassador
  • Member of one of the 5 BIID Committees
  • Member of one of the 3 BIID Panels
  • Speaker on behalf of BIID at an exhibition/show

This list is not exhaustive of all volunteering that has taken place with the BIID.

Have you volunteered and not received your invite?

We do not wish to leave anyone out, but as we have had so many amazing volunteers over the last 60 years, it is feasible we miss someone. We therefore are asking anyone who has volunteered for us and not received an invitation to contact us at info@biid.org.uk. 

We hope you can join us for an afternoon of celebration, good company, and plenty of tea and cake!

The event will take place on 19th June at GP & J Baker Showroom, Design Centre East, Chelsea Harbour Unit 10, Ground Floor, Chelsea Harbour, London SW10 0XF
