The Brief: To create a home with an edge for this fun-loving family. They wanted a home with a difference; something that stood out. We made sure the fabric of the main living area created an inviting but playful environment, using the exposed brick with smooth and soft colours and textures to balance it. The kitchen floor was a firm favourite of ours.

What we loved: Playing with contrasts everywhere. Textures, patterns and colours all mixing in to give the eye plenty to look at. We loved how this reflected their love of eclectic art and we think the two blend together effortlessly.

The Bonus: We created a bespoke window seat nook, a real one-off to enable the adults and young children alike to snuggle up with a good book and daydream looking out into the wonderful garden.
