Located within a rural English village, The Old Rectory, set within lovely grounds and with far reaching views required a complete update to bring it into the 21st Century as a comfortable, stylish and functional modern family home. 

Amanda Meade re- designed the interiors over the three floors to provide beautiful rooms for entertaining, comfortable and practical spaces to accommodate children of various ages and their wide variety of outdoor interests and also an annexe apartment for Grandmother too. 

The Old Rectory has been transformed from a large house with basic interiors to a family home with quality furnishings and design detail, giving it character and a sense of homeliness. 

"We moved into our Georgian Rectory in 2011 and over the past 10 years Amanda has helped us transform it into a stylish and comfortable home for our growing family. We didn't have the funds (or the energy) to do the whole project in one go and wanted to take our time, progressing room by room, enjoying the process as much as the result. Amanda's approach has given us the ultimate flexibility to do just that. Over the years we have returned to her again and again, whether it be for help with sourcing individual elements of a room such as fabrics, wallpaper and furniture or to design and implement entire rooms, such as our recently completed en-suite and his/hers dressing room. Her direct access to suppliers and contractors has meant that each project came in on budget and her ideas and design flare has meant that the end result has always exceeded our expectations.

She has and continues to make the process of renovating and styling our home an immensely enjoyable one. So much so, that when we recently decided to convert an old Steading in the Highlands into a holiday home, we immediately approached Amanda - this time to oversee the entire renovation from beginning to end.
