When this Client visited our pop up shop in 2019 she loved our kitchen space and announced she going away to try and talk her husband in to doing something similar in their house. It took a couple of years before she returned with the go ahead.

The family have lived in the house for nearly thirty years, gradually creating a light airy interior with a smart contemporary feel, except for the kitchen which had not bee updated for 25 years. It was some task to remove the structure in the centre which held up not only the floors above but supported the cellar below, in doing so it has opening up the room and created a wonderful light spacious kitchen living area with a new pantry and cloakroom.

"After realising that our proposed kitchen project would require more than a builder, we approached AMID.
Amanda was very thorough during our initial consultation, to which she brought James Daykin from Daykin
Marshall Architects. Our expectations, thoughts, budget and actual realities were discussed at length and,

suggested and quotes and tenders were all supplied efficiently, professionally, clearly and all within the
original brief. The excellent builders and associated trades all had a clear and concise schedule to work which
was assessed on a regular basis.
Although major structural work was required, Amanda and James liaised regularly and knock on delays due
to unforeseen structural issues were explained and minimised before they became an issue. The interior desien
was agreed from the outset and we feel that our budget was met without compromising on the effect that we
were trying to achieve. Alternatives were always found and details that could've been overlooked always
considered. Liaison between suppliers re-deliveries and timings were always realistic. Amanda considered all
aspects of our lifestyle before presenting a scheme and encouraged us to live with some things before making
decisions, which we found to be very wise. In appointing AMID we have a kitchen that we are absolutely
