Based around superior material choices, a honed and texturised Pietra Di Corinto marble took centre stage in this design. Combining the unusual stone with a book matched ebony veneer gives real presence and character. Matt white lacquered units create the perfect backdrop for the characterful natural materials.

Crafting a Pietra Di Corinto marble sink and recessed drainer into the island worktop allows the natural veining to be extended. The contrasting polished sink is finished with the hammered worktop surface, to create effective zoning of the wet area.

Using 45 degree mitred worktop edges, door fronts and downstand reveals establishes a coherant design philosophy.

To echo the ebony veneer cabinets subtly, the breakfast bar support was clad in the same material to create design harmony. The bevelled worktop edge continues over the breakfast bar area and downstand providing understated detail.
