Studio Sidika was commissioned to work up a complete renovation, including architecture and design for a 80 square metre apartment set within a beautiful Victorian building on one of the prettiest streets of Notting Hill. The Swiss and Brazilian clients love modernist furniture and wanted the space to be maximized for storage and entertainment. A bespoke walnut joinery wall was introduced along the entirety of one wall unifying the living room and providing ample storage for the audio visual equipment, books, shoes and coats.

We changed the windows in both bedrooms to single pane Crittal - style windows to make the rooms feel bigger and enhance the views over the Notting Hill rooftops. The door to the master bedroom merges with the sliding wardrobes doors to ensure that no floor space is lost and can accommodate a King size bed. We designed beautiful bespoke rattan doors for the wardrobe in the guest room. The interior’s palette of warm greys and walnut with touches of dark green gives the apartment a warm yet masculine feel.
