The award-winning Penthouse at Westlegate Tower, Norwich is the tallest residential building within the city centre walls, boasting spectacular views towards many landmark buildings such as Norwich Castle.
The client purchased the apartment off plan and we worked with them throughout the build stage right through to completion of the turn-key project.
The interior has been designed to complement the view from the room-height glazed panels using natural materials and a variety of textures.
Our design brief was to create an apartment for the client that was in keeping with the country interior he had previously enjoyed, while gently evolving the style to suit the contemporary building and city lifestyle.
The design process involved researching the heritage of the building in Norwich and using the architectural style as an influence for the interior.
The sky lounge is positioned on the top floor of the tower and has been designed to reflect the style of a ski lodge. It gives the opportunity to imagine you could be anywhere as all you can see from the lodge is the sky.
In 2015 we received the award for Best Interior Design Apartment East of England at the United Kingdom Property Awards for our work on this exciting project.
