Elegant penthouse apartment spread over two levels in the residential area of Bayswater and within a walking distance of Hyde Park.
Accommodation consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 reception rooms, kitchen with dining area and large entry hall.
For the interior design of the apartment KIMA specified a selection of beautiful stone throughout, large book-matched slabs in all the bathrooms, back-lit onyx wall feature and seemingly seamless stone flooring in the entry hall. Along with the various stones, bespoke Venetian glass chandeliers and a leather clad feature-wall create a feeling of unfussy luxury and timeless elegance. A major feature of the project, in terms of structure and layout, was the demolition of the existing staircase and the design of a new cantilevered stair with a sculptural quality.
KIMA was charged with obtaining a Licence for Alterations from building management and permission for the installation of air conditioning equipment from the local authority.
