Barclay Interiors Limited undertook the full renovation of this Regency property in Kincardineshire, Scotland, with the help and guidance of Historic Scotland.

Every room was extensively refurbished, and the house was stripped back to a shell internally, saving every door, and every piece of woodwork and non-damaged plasterwork possible.  New moulds were taken from the saved pieces of the intricate cornicing and hand applied by specialist teams. A new roof and cupola were installed and 7 of the 12 rooms in the lower ground floor were opened up to create a sensational kitchen/dining/living room.

The house was carefully reassembled using the original features but adding some modern conveniences like underfloor heating and an inspiring lighting specification designed by John Cullen Lighting and Barclay Interiors Ltd.
