Senior Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Senior Interior Designer to become an integral part of our dynamic and friendly team at our studio in Weybridge, Surrey. We offer a range of different services from architectural design and services, spatial planning and interior-fit out to onsite coordination across Surrey and Southwest London. Candidates will need a proven and demonstrable experience managing the design and delivery of high-quality projects from concept through to completion. Candidates need to be professional, highly creative, passionate, organised, self-motivated and have the ability to work both independently and within a team. 

The candidate will be responsible for managing the design team as well as developing innovative interior concepts, preparing detailed designs, and collaborating closely with clients and contractors to bring visions to life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-end residential projects in Surrey and Southwest London.

Our benefits include a generous holiday allowance with additional paid leave between Christmas and New Year. This is a full-time position working from our studio in Weybridge with the option of working from home on Fridays after a successful probation period. Key Responsibilities & Skills
 
• Strong project leadership with the ability to oversee the entire design lifecycle, from initial concept to completion. 
• Strong client management skills acting as the primary contact, understand needs, manage expectations, and present designs. 
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) and EstiPC. • Strong team management skills to be able to lead, delegate tasks, and mentor more junior designers. 
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise with clients, architects, contractors and suppliers. 
• Strong budget and timeline management to manage project costs, budgets, and ensure timely completion. 
• Excellent quality control experience to review drawings, ensure design intent, and conduct site visits. 
• Strong knowledge of industry trends and excellent interior material knowledge including joinery and ideally kitchen and bathroom design. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture 
• 6 years + of experience in high-end residential design
