After months of lockdowns in the UK, our well-travelled client was keen to bring some exotic flair to their home to remind them of their adventures around the world.  They came to us with an exciting brief, taking inspiration from hotels they have stayed in Marrakesh to create a Living Room where they could find warmth and comfort on long winter nights, curled up with a good book and a glass of wine, with their dog, in front of the fire.

We took this brief, and harmoniously blended textures with a deep jewelled colour palette, incorporating battered leather, whimsical sheer drapes, statement panelling, and herringbone flooring to create this look.

A 77” TV is cleverly hidden behind a sliding screen which we designed and built especially for the room, also providing space to display antiquities as our client is a keen collector, and their Buddha from Sri Lanka adds a zen like calm to the space.

We added touches such as a ceiling fan, and real plants to give this room a colonial feel with large statement lamps to create balance.

This is a truly spectacular transformation, from what was a blank canvas to what is now a wonderful retreat for our clients to enjoy for years to come.
