Modus Vivendi project

Sharland Golf Simulator

Following the completion of a new audio system, CCTV and Wi-Fi upgrade across the property, we were asked to design a golf simulator for an outbuilding being constructed in the grounds close to the main house. Due to some of the implications introduced when designing a space for a golf simulator, meant that we had to provide some input on the overall construction of the building, for example the ceiling height requirements.

The system was to be predominantly used by the client and his son, and occasionally friends. Being avid golfers, there was a requirement for accuracy and realism, and whilst the room was initially expected to be used for pleasure, the client quickly realised how TrackMan could develop his game and overall performance.

Our solution incorporated a Laser Projector with 4.7m Wide Impact Screen, Premium Putting Turf, a 27” Interactive Touch Screen for Control, Control4 Room Control and Sonos Audio Distribution.
