Structural changes included extensive work to walls and floors of the 17th Century kitchen, bedrooms and hallway spaces. Installing new furniture, lighting and fittings in the large living areas and bedrooms, Nerissa styled every space with its own identity yet with each reflecting the overall character and ambience of the house. "I love to mix period features such as wooden beams with muted soft colours, to create calm and a more contemporary finish. ‘The fun is creating a space that is sympathetic to the period and age of the house but also contemporary in attitude.
