BIID Interior designer, Elie Jones was asked by her clients to help create comfortable and luxurious interiors for their Surrey family home. Over the several years that this property was renovated, we worked closely with Elie to turn her initial concepts and ideas into reality. Every piece of furniture, joinery and cabinetry needed to be the perfect balance of traditional detailing and modern functionality.
For the living room, Elie sketched a design for a home bar to curve around a 90 degree corner. We translated her sketches into full technical drawings and then crafted the curved corner bar from stained oak with all the period features she wanted to include.
A central arched storage area features mirrored shelving, blue painted interior arch and exterior architectural beading, tiled splashback and oak worktops. Two wine fridges are built-in underneath the countertop.
