Abigail Reay was appointed to lead the interior design of this Grade II* listed Georgian country home in Sussex. The project was a full refurbishment and modernisation with the addition of an extension, annex and gym.

BRIEF
Our brief was to transform the property into a functional family home that combines 21st-century living with the charm of its period character. Works included the creation of a new master suite, additional bathrooms and a large kitchen with adjoining boot room, utility and pantry. Original features such as sash windows and panelled rooms were retained, whilst a modern traditional style was developed through a blend of antiques and new pieces. Bespoke joinery and marbles were incorporated throughout, with the design tailored to suit both day-to-day living for our clients and their two dogs, alongside larger family gatherings when the children return home.
