This studio flat in Gloucester Road was destined as a holiday let. The interior decor complements the contemporary Scandi character of the space. Large sofa from Danish company Hay adorned with richly textured tribal cushions invites to put your feet up and relax. Media unit has been built in the staircase leading to the mezzanine sleeping platform above.

Softly natural colour palette is far from boring through mixing patterns, textures and adding lots of greenery. It is a place to chill out after a long day of sightseeing.

The flat has a large kitchen in the widening of the hallway with a small dining table, perfect for having a breakfast before venturing out for some shoppig in nearby Knightsbridge.

Every nook and cranny were utilised by the architect to maximise the storage in an inconspicuous way.

However cosy the apartment became after our interior decoration, the real challenge was the fact that the only window in the flat was looking out on a gloomy wall of internal light well. The flat, although bright, but could feel a little claustrophobic. So we installed a lush artificial vertical garden in the lightwell, with arched window mirror, which completely transformed the apartment giving it not only a lovely calming yet verdant view and an illusion of perspective and openness.
