Viridien Reception
Refurbishment of a reception space for a tech company focused on leveraging data and human intelligence to address
challenges related to natural resources, the environment, and infrastructure.
The aim
was to create a welcoming and impactful area that aligned with Viridien’s vision for a
sustainable future.
Our client wanted an impressive space which didn't compromise on practicality and embodied the
company’s innovative and eco-conscious ethos. The space contained a statement reception, a coffee bar and lounge, three client-facing meeting rooms, as well as a concealed security office.
Working closely with our client, we developed a concept that prioritised openness and
light. Removing solid partitions and dropping the windowsills created an inviting reception and lounge area which was flooded with natural light, enhancing the
overall atmosphere. A
stand-out feature is the bespoke table, which has a leg that doubles as a planter for a
living tree, and a Foresso tabletop crafted from timber offcuts. Breaking up the masculine colours and geometric forms were warm timber tones and voiles gave the scheme a cosy tech vibes and emulated the inviting nature of the client.
The result is a striking reception area that leaves a bold first impression for clients and
visitors, offering a modern yet functional space for meetings and presentations.
