This is a residential project entailing the refurbishment  of a Grade II* Listed 1960s flat in a conservation area in the heart of London to suit current lifestyle and modern conditions while retaining the building’s character. The brief comprises internal adjustments to suit the present occupant, our client better. The main points of the brief were to introduce a second bathroom, assess the lack of storage and lack of natural daylight, replace the outdated kitchen with a new one, replace the handrails and redecorate the whole property including its roof terrace. The style is somewhere between contemporary and mid-century so we have conveyed this through the design by having practical but aesthetically pleasing solutions for the present issues and connected spaces through colour whether that is through finishes or accessories.
