A historic 19th Century house in Surrey with some stunning period details for which we were commissioned to design and make the kitchens, pantry, laundry room, fitted media cabinetry, boot room, home bar and wine store, and bathroom vanity cabinets.

  • A large open plan kitchen with Delft wall tiles & white kitchen cabinets with Welsh black slate worktops

    The main kitchen benefits from a vaulted ceiling, original delft wall tiles, and natural light streaming through stone mullioned windows. Fitted base cabinets hand painted in white with simple framed fronts and Welsh slate worktops complement the period details without impinging on them.

  • A black AGA range cooker to the right with a run of tall cabinets housing oven and a stainless steel fridge freezer

    The classic black AGA range adds warmth and a focal point sitting below the window in the main kitchen. Additional integrated appliances including a Sub Zero fridge freezer and Gaggenau ovens are housed in fitted cabinetry within an adjacent recess.

  • An Arts & Crafts inspired bathroom vanity units in dark stained oak with cream marble top

    For the master bathroom suite, we designed two vanity units in dark stained oak inspired by the Arts and Crafts style of the house.

  • A freestanding dark copper traditional bath with dark oak freestanding vanity units either side

    With pale marble tops and black feature fittings the vanity cabinets frame the copper clad cast iron freestanding bath rather well.

  • A home bar in dark oak and dark grey lacquer with 3 bar stools and a bar-top

    Warm tones were chosen for the wine store and bar area to blend with the original stone window mullions and flooring.

  • A run of dark grey traditional base cabinets with a large copper rectangular sink, decorative wall lights, & traditional red runner

    For the wine storage washing & servery area with its large copper sink, hand-painted dark grey cabinetry and Welsh slate add to the sophisticated and timeless quality of the space.
