WIMBLEDON

Our client brief was to incorporate and integrate a newly acquired and very bold “Audrey” artwork within a full formal sitting room re-design.  This elegant family home on Wimbledon Common already contained some wonderful Edwardian features, but was rather bland and dated, and so a more contemporary ambience was achieved with the application of textured linen wallpaper, a neutral palette of soft textured fabrics, and vivid pops of  colour on soft and hard furnishings to create balance with the painting.  The inter-connecting wood panelled study underwent a similar transformation, with the introduction of bold mustard flashes within the bespoke joinery
