A former 1930's bungalow sitting on the Sussex coast and in need of a complete overhaul. Several inadequate renovations had gone before, adding a chalet style second floor, new doors and windows that didn't match or function well and a confused kitchen blending a very traditional range cooker with curved high gloss cabinets and LED strip lights. The design had no audience and was just a mash up of meaningless styles with no logic, taste, or relevance. On the market and no interested parties, I decided to buy it as I had always wanted to live by the sea.

On day one I was already in planning mode but like all the projects I work on, I advocate settling in, get a feel for the space, plan how you want to live in it. What works and what doesn’t. Where is the best light and at what time of the day and where feels warm and cosy especially on chilly nights.

This project like all my projects became a labour of love. Injected with our distinctive style and fully reflective of our personalities.

This is my style and I love it!
