Ambassador: Studio Twentyseven
ABOUT
When we talk about 'designer upcycling' the work of renowned professional furniture artist Kata Roberts immediately springs to mind. A master upcycler for over a decade, Kata's work exudes Individuality and a sense of luxury, adorning both the residential and commercial properties of her many clients who include celebrities and creative icons.
From restoring and resurfacing vintage drinks cabinets to producing spectacular sideboards, the Studio Twentyseven creative team work closely with their clients to provide pieces of furniture which not only reflect their individual personality but make a design statement that once seen, is unforgettable. Using only quality grade materials and products to create her collections, Kata's talented eye for the unusual and cutting edge is second to none. She has also created a unique academy where she teaches her students how to upcycle as a professional, to professional standards.
Studio Twentyseven furniture has appeared at Design London, Grand Designs Live and Clerkenwell Design Week under the auspices of the House of Upcycling. Their designer upcycling collections continue to break new ground with styles and surface designs that cannot be found elsewhere, sustainability remaining at the core of the Studio Twentyseven team's design ethos.
Kata's studio and workshop can be found in the Essex countryside, just 30 minutes from central London, where prospective clients are welcome to visit and discuss their requirements in person. Her small but highly skilled team of artisans who work under her creative direction, provide a service based on craftsmanship, design innovation and environmentally friendly principles.
