This family house is perched on the edge of a beautiful Cheshire village and the brief from our client was for a smart country style that needed to withstand the rigours of modern living and family life but also reflected their appreciation of craft and design. Although we were not involved in any structural work we reconfigured the living spaces removing two wooden posts, opening up the space for more relaxed living. We specified a greyed oak floor throughout which gave a coherent feel to the ground floor.
