Chevron and Herringbone Parquet Flooring

At the Solid Wood Flooring Company we manufacture all of our chevron and herringbone parquet flooring to meet exacting client requirements. We have three different types of parquet in our range, engineered block, solid block and engineered panels. There are a multitude of styles within each construction type. All of our parquet is made to British Standards and is ethically sourced. As the sole manufacturer of these products you won’t find them anywhere else.

We produce both Oak and American Black Walnut in herringbone and can chevron to any size. Our smallest is 70mm x 350mm and our largest is 260mm x 825mm. Please contact us to give us your requirements, 01666 504015. 

CASE STUDY

THE  PLACE HOTEL MANCHESTER : We worked closely with Archer Humphreys Architects to manufacture a band sawn finished chevron with a UV cured surface to create a floor that matched the interior of the building to perfection. 

Awarded Grade II listed status by English Heritage in 1998 as an acknowledgement of its important cultural and architectural legacy, this former railway warehouse was built in 1867 during the peak of Manchester’s prominence as the world’s number one centre for the cloth trade. The building is the only remaining of four warehouses erected by the Manchester & Birmingham Railway Company and was known as the London Warehouse. Also in 1998, the building was transformed into The Place Aparthotel, retaining many of the building’s original features, including the impressively crafted iron, stone and brick work. These can be seen in the original Victorian railings manning the balconies, the barrel ceilings, the stupendous façade and the large, spacious public area which makes The Place unique.
