Cinema Room Furniture Supply & Bespoke Finishing

For this private cinema room project, interior designer Debra Karcher of dk Interiors specified furniture from two of The Design Net’s long-standing Italian brand partners, B&B Italia and Maxalto.

The seating scheme centres around the iconic B&B Italia Camaleonda sofa and coordinating footstool, chosen for its sculptural form, generous proportions and relaxed comfort. Its modular design works particularly well within the cinema setting, creating an inviting space for both entertaining and everyday use.

For the adjoining bar area, Debra selected Maxalto Caratos swivel barstools. To ensure the stools integrated seamlessly with the wider interior, she asked whether the metal frames could be refinished to match the colour of the metal trim used on the bespoke bar. The Design Net arranged for the frames to be professionally re-sprayed in our workshop, creating a more considered and cohesive finish across the room.

The project is a good example of how we support designers beyond simply supplying furniture. Alongside access to leading European brands, we can help with product specification, finishes, customisation and workshop alterations where required, helping designers achieve a more tailored result.
