Nestled in one of Baths hidden valleys, it is thought that Thomas Gainsborough would have painted in this area at the time the house was originally built.

Uninterrupted views and a desire to create a refined yet comfortable contemporary finish lead to an approach which allowed light filled rooms to feature bold choices of tone and strong furniture choices. A new room was added to the east of the building, while the original structure was carefully refined to ensure it sat comfortably alongside the later addition.

A family home which while elegant, was easy to live in and enjoy.
