Covent Garden Duplex Penthouse apartment

A  Duplex Penthouse Apartment in Covent Garden with a roof terrace  and Jacuzzi overlooking Trafalgar Square and The Royal Opera House. I did a full refurbishment  on the Interior as well as the outdoor roof terrace including re decking ad replanting 
 

New Bulthaup  kitchen, bathroom,  Bang and Olufsen  top end audio system, a new boiler, new radiators and sanded back and treated the existing floor boards . I employed  Harry Trigg of TM Lighting to design the lighting for  the double height  pitched roof line and general lighting throughout. Enhanced by some stunning architectural lighting pieces from Aqua Creations in Tel Aviv.

The walls in areas were lacquered Chinese red and in the hallway a Chinese hand-painted wallpaper by de Gournay on a gold-leaf  ground were used. My client has a passion for red and rich colour /pattern mix.
 

I liked keeping the mix of textures- the open brick chimney breast and applied a brick finish in a small section in the kitchen area facing the fireplace, then the lacquered internal block sections, then painted, walls and roof beams in a 'off white'
