Dulwich Growing Family

This house was formerly a dilapidated, tired and dark property. My clients - Franco/Russian - bought it wanting to create a light, bright, family home. Both had extensive hobbies and interests, we designed a glorious open house, flooded with light and reflecting their personalities.

Here is what they said abut us: 

We hired Dee to help us design our new home entirely. It was a big project as we refurbished the whole house, did a loft conversion and extension at the back. We had a relative good view of what we wanted and Dee managed to put it all in place while adding the VO touch we hired her for.

She warned us of possible flaws in our design without imposing her views and was fine giving us new proposals until we were happy with the results.

We wanted to achieve a lot with a relatively tight budget, which initially created difficulties; but Dee got used to our way of taking the time to find the best value possible and we managed to do all we wanted. The project took -as always - longer than expected and we appreciated Dee's patience and flexibility to adapt to the building's schedule.

We had little idea however on the interior design and Dee spent time discussing with us and presenting us a few things to try and understand what would work for us. We trusted her entirely on the color choices and the result just works: a subtle interior with dashes of color here and there for that special look.

Our project lasted 15 months in total. A lot can and did happen in that time but our relationship with Dee remained very friendly all along. A building project is a stressful experience, meetings with Dee were always a breather during the process. "
