Azure Design Show
Second-year Interior Design and Styling students from Arts University Plymouth will present a curated showcase of interior suppliers at the Azure Interior Design Trade Show on Thursday 7 May 2026, from 4pm to 7pm. The event will be hosted at Steel Brew, in Plymouth’s historic Royal William Yard.
Bringing together emerging designers, established industry suppliers and local creatives, the trade show aims to spark innovation, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster meaningful partnerships. By creating a platform for collaboration and connection, the event supports the development of the next generation of design talent—both locally and beyond.
This year’s theme focuses on sustainability and creative collaboration, highlighting the importance of responsible design practices while supporting a local community partner. The 2026 Trade Show Charity Partner is Nudge Community Builders, who are doing great things to regenerate empty, neglected buildings in Union Street, Plymouth. The event is proudly supported by:
Platinum sponsor - Vispring, a luxury bed and mattress manufacturer who have been hand making beds for an international audience since 1901.
Silver sponsors - The Senator Group, one of the world’s largest office furniture manufacturers, a British, family owned business operating since 1976; and Marie Hewitt Interiors a local specialist in bespoke, made to measure window treatments, upholstery and soft furnishings.
Confirmed exhibitors include Broadleaf Timber, Lewis & Wood Wallcoverings & Fabrics, Wemyss Fabrics, Sekers Fabrics, Porta Romana lighting, and Seed Home Designs, offering attendees the opportunity to explore a diverse range of high-quality materials, finishes and design services.
Cathryn Bishop, Subject Leader for BA (Hons) Interior Design & Styling, said: “This trade show is an invaluable opportunity for our students to gain hands-on experience in event planning, networking, and showcasing their talents to a professional audience.”
Naomi Ibbs, a second-year interior design and styling student said: “Working in teams to create a successful event has allowed us to identify our core values, start developing our professional network, and create a platform to showcase our work to industry partners.”
