BIID Craft Social – Rag Wreath Workshop at Studio Franchi
BIID Members are invited to Studio Franchi to celebrate the festive season for a morning of sustainable wreath making with mulled wine and festive food.
Studio Franchi invite you to their rag wreath masterclass, a fun, engaging, and relaxing workshop experience hosted by YODOMO in Studio Franchi’s wonderful Design Centre showroom in Chelsea Harbour.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each attendee will get the chance to build their own sustainable festive door decoration consisting of festive coloured textile samples collected all throughout the year and a special piece of Studio Franchi brass that will age with a beautiful patina over the years. Guests will also enjoy learning about this sustainable technique.
The workshop will begin at 10.30 am and will last for 2 hours, ending at 12:30pm. After the workshop guests are invited to enjoy a warm glass of mulled wine and seasonal food with the opportunity to network and connect.
WHAT TO BRING
No need to bring anything as all materials will be supplied. But if you have textile pieces you’d like to incorporate in your creation, bring them along with you.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH
Once built, your sustainable wreath will require very minimal maintenance and Yodomo will teach you all the necessary steps on how to hang it.
Studio Franchi will be giving away environmentally friendly tote bags (with goodies) to carry your wreaths home in, and are offering a collection service for your masterpiece, so that you can collect it at the end of the day after enjoying your time at The Design Centre during Twinkle of Christmas.
