Grand Designs Live 22
Grand Designs Live, the must visit event for home building, renovation and improvement makes a welcome return to London for the first time since May 2019. Hosted by TV presenter and design guru Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs Live will run over nine days from 30 April – 8 May. Access over 500 companies across self-build, home renovation, interiors and gardens, plus new for 2022, find Green Living Live, a show dedicated to showcasing eco-friendly products and services from companies that put sustainability at the heart of their business.
The Interiors Hall will welcome The Working from Home Project, which will see a range of interior designers competing to come up with diverse, creative, and clever concepts to transform a space into useful and beautiful multi-functional working environment. The winner will be announced live on stage at the show with judges including Kevin McCloud and Mathew Freeman, BIID President Elect.
Always popular is the Ask an Expert arena, where you can book to discuss your build and renovation plans on a one-to-one basis with specialists in architecture, construction, finance, interior design and more. The Grand Theatre is an entertaining and informative platform where you can hear from the likes of Kevin McCloud, Kunle Barker and various Grand Designers. Plus find The Upcycling Hub, where you will find designers who are experts in turning objects and materials into beautiful furniture. Visitors will be able to buy or commission handmade pieces, as well as gain an insight into the craft through live demonstrations.
