Pinterest is a great place to source inspiration for everything from home decor to holidays, craft ideas or recipes for dinner, but did you know Pinterest is one of the most popular sources of traffic for interiors and lifestyle websites?

When used effectively it can drive huge amounts of traffic to your website, get subscribers to your email list, boost your SEO and help buyers discover your products and services.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This limited capacity Pinterest workshop is a one-hour webinar delivered via Zoom following a power point presentation. Designers joining will learn:

  • how Pinterest works as a search engine
  • how Pinterest is used as a tool for work or leisure
  • how designers use Pinterest as a business tool to grow traffic
  • how to set up a Pinterest business account
  • how to set up your Pinterest profile and boards
  • the different types of ‘pins’ and how to create them
  • how what and when to pin to your profile to attract traffic to your website

WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH

The tools you need to create scroll stopping, clickable pins and automate your Pinterest scheduling

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This workshop is open to BIID Registered Interior Designers, BIID Associate and Provisional members, Employees of BIID Registered Design Practices and BIID Student members. There is also a small allocation for interior designers that are non-members. Spaces are limited. 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Fiona Mostyn runs My Deco Marketing which helps interior designers and home decor brands with smarter marketing through content, SEO and social media. Fiona has written hundreds of interior design blogs with two of her client blogs shortlisted in the prestigious Amara Interior Blog Awards. Fiona also hosts The Decorcafe in Brighton a busy networking hub for interiors and creative businesses.

Once you have registered for this event, you will be emailed the Zoom Meeting link.  If this event is fully booked, please join the waiting list. If you are no longer able to attend, please inform the office so that we can give your spot to someone else.

  3. A replacement delegate nominated and confirmed by you is permitted but must be confirmed in writing to info@BIID.org.uk prior to the event.
  4. If you wish to cancel your booking to a free event, please do so via Eventbrite as soon as possible so that your ticket can be reallocated.
  5. The BIID reserves the right to make changes to the programme.
  6. The BIID reserves the right to cancel the event if unavoidable circumstances arise.
  7. This event will be photographed and videoed. Attendance constitutes consent for these images/videos to be used, by the BIID and its partners, for promotional purposes.
