Shoreditch Design Week
Shoreditch Design Week will transform one of London’s most creative neighbourhoods into the largest official design district of the London Design Festival. Taking place from 15–20 September, it will bring together more than 60 showrooms, galleries, studios and cultural spaces, inviting visitors to discover the ideas, products and people shaping the future of design.
Formerly known as the Shoreditch Design Triangle, the district enters a new chapter with an expanded programme spanning contemporary interiors, materials, workplace design and emerging talent. Alongside events taking place throughout the neighbourhood, the opening three days, from 15–17 September, will be anchored by four major exhibitions.
Making its Shoreditch debut is Material Matters, the UK’s leading exhibition dedicated to material innovation. Taking over UNLOCKED, it will bring together designers, brands and manufacturers exploring how materials can contribute to a more sustainable built environment.
House of ICON will feature brands that manufacture contemporary design products for contract, residential and hospitality interiors. The venue will also host Speakeasy Sessions, hosted and curated by Roddy Clarke, while 2LG return with the fourth edition of ‘You Can Sit With Us’.
At Protein Studios, Design at Work will explore how thoughtful design is transforming the workplace. It will be joined by Neuroplaces, the UK’s first B2B exhibition and conference dedicated to neuroinclusive and accessible design, placing wellbeing and inclusivity at the heart of workplace conversations.
ND Selects, curated in partnership with New Designers, will spotlight emerging design talent and products from new businesses. It will appear alongside Design Burger: The Product Design 100, a curated exhibition celebrating influential industrial design projects from the past decade.
Beyond the exhibitions, showrooms, galleries and studios will host product launches, installations, talks, tours and workshops throughout the week. Highlights include the Wax Building and a growing line-up featuring Jasper Morrison, Lee Broom, Christopher Farr, Floor Story and more.
Free to attend with a visitor badge, Shoreditch Design Week offers an unmissable opportunity to discover new products, meet leading designers and explore one of London’s most influential creative districts.
