Surface Design Show 2018
Located in
Islington, at the centre of London’s design district, Surface Design Show is
the event of choice for architects, interior architects, lighting designers and
designers.
Some 200 companies from the UK and abroad will be participating from 6-8 February 2018 at the Business Design Centre displaying the largest and most innovative selection of surface materials.
Running alongside Surface Design Show will be Light School and Stone Gallery, two events specific to those markets.
Three Stages located on the show floor will host over 40 presentations, including the Opening Night Live Debate, our ever-popular PechaKucha Evening, Light Talks and the Stone Hub. Our CPD Hub will host a whole programme of CPD approved seminars.
BIID will
again be hosting a highlight event on the Main Stage covering the latest
material and colour trends in the residential market. Join BIID President Charles Leon as he discusses The Business of Running a Design Consultancy from 12.45 to 1.30 on Thursday 8th February.

The winners of the 2018 Surface Design Awards will be presented at the show on Thursday 8 February. More than 100 projects from the UK and abroad will enter the Awards. Deadline for entries is Friday 29 September 2018.
This year’s winner was the fabulous Broad Museum in Los Angeles designed by Arup/Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler.
