Iris Ceramica Group – Creative Technology
Iris Ceramica Group Presents: Design Without Limits with Design Your Slab (DYS)

Iris Ceramica Group is pleased to introduce a special project, developed in Milan, which showcases the innovative use of porcelain stoneware enhanced by the “Design Your Slabs” technology. This cutting-edge technique allows for high-definition printing directly onto ceramic surfaces, enabling the transformation of any concept or image into a tangible design element. For a truly personalised and unique concept.
For this initiative, Francesco Simeti - a Sicilian artist based in New York - was invited to collaborate with the Iris Ceramica Group team. Simeti is internationally recognized for his site-specific installations, which at first appear visually captivating but reveal more complex and thought-provoking narratives upon closer inspection.
Simeti created site-specific work for Fondazione Officine Saffi, a prominent non-profit foundation dedicated to exploring contemporary international ceramics. The foundation supports research and experimentation while fostering a dialogue between art, craft, and design, all within the context of ceramic heritage.
Iris Ceramica Group is proud to present this beautiful project that reflects an ongoing commitment to innovation and creativity. This cutting-edge "Design Your Slabs" technology means that a designer can fully customise a concept into something truly unique. Transforming inspiration and personality into reality.
