Wren Loucks of Be-Kin launches The Art of Holistic Design podcast

Wren Loucks, Founder and Creative Director of Be-Kin luxury interior design studio and BIID Registered Interior Designer®, has launched her brand-new podcast, The Art of Holistic Design.
The podcast goes behind the scenes of beautiful spaces, revealing the philosophies, rituals, materials and craft that come together to create luxurious and personally resonant interiors. It’s an invitation into thoughtful conversations with designers, artists, makers and visionaries shaping how we live beautifully.
In the first couple of episodes, Wren discusses the philosophical dimensions of design with Alan Hughes, Principal of the pioneering Inchbald School of Design, where the focus is on the individual. She also talks with artist and designer Sasha Compton, who shares the rituals and habits that nurture creativity and considers nature as the guide.
Upcoming guests include India Holmes and Bella Valenzia, Founders of Pelican House Rugs; Mike Booth, Principal of the Aura-Soma Academy; and Mira Nakashima, President and Creative Director of George Nakashima Woodworkers.
When asked about the podcast, Wren said:
“Holistic design is a kind of alchemy, encompassing a huge range of motivations behind creative decisions. I’ve always been fascinated by what drives the most inspired design practitioners and artists – both professionally and personally. With a wonderful line-up of guests, I’m delving behind the appearance of luxury interiors, to uncover what makes them meaningful. I’m so excited to share these conversations.”
