Grade II Family Home , London
Transformation of a Grade-2 Listed Family Home, London . We were invited to transform the interiors of this beautiful Grade-listed family home in Wimbledon Village, following a rear extension and initial decoration that allowed the family to move in. Although the architectural bones were in place, the house still lacked the warmth, personality, and functionality that would make it truly theirs.
Our work began with the drawing room, focusing on redecoration and FF&E. Very quickly, as trust grew, our clients asked us to reimagine almost every room in the house, from bedrooms to a gym and games room, the utility to a cosy snug. The scope included bespoke joinery, handmade lighting, and carefully curated soft furnishings and furniture, all designed to sit effortlessly alongside much-loved family heirlooms. The result honours the past while creating a home that feels fresh, relevant, and personal.
Craftsmanship and quality guided every decision. We collaborated with long-standing, trusted local contractors, ensuring every detail was considered not only for its beauty, but also for its practicality, so the home works seamlessly for everyday family life.
With a love of literature, music, travel, sport and time spent together, our clients’ passions became an integral part of the design story. By blending the home’s period details with their relaxed, joyful style, we created interiors that feel refined yet deeply personal, a timeless home that reflects both tradition and the family’s infectious love of life.
