Interiors By Ingrid Ltd project

Highbank — Alderley Edge, Cheshire

Part of a phased refurbishment of a substantial family home, this project brings together a principal bedroom, enlarged en-suite and two adjoining dressing rooms. The brief combined generous storage and everyday comfort with a refined contemporary interior.

Structural alterations created a recessed setting for an oversized bespoke headboard in bird’s-eye maple veneer, alongside display niches and concealed curtain detailing. Muted colours, velvet upholstery and sculptural lighting soften the architectural composition.

The enlarged en-suite features a 2.5-metre floating vanity and a spacious walk-in wet area. In the dressing rooms, fitted cabinetry, recessed brass pulls and integrated lighting provide practical storage with carefully resolved detailing. Antique mirror, velvet seating and a statement chandelier introduce warmth and character.

Shared materials and discreetly integrated smart home technology connect the suite, creating a sequence of spaces designed around dressing, relaxation and daily routines.
