Highbank- phase 1

Remodelling of luxurious master suite

Highbank is a large family dwelling situated in the beautiful countryside of Alderley Edge.

Tasked with a five-phase refurbishment over 8000 feet, the first phase involved a full master suite remodelling.

The main objectives were to create a light, spacious master suite, filled with luxurious materials such as velvets, chenilles and specialist veneers, while incorporating smart home automation.

We collaborated with suppliers such as Joseph Giles, Serip Lighting and Porta Romana to deliver high quality services and products to enable an effortless project progression.

The bedroom sees an exquisite white gold chandelier and wall lights by Serip Lighting. The organic nature of these fittings harmonise effortlessly with the muted tones and soft velvet textures, creating an elegant and timeless feel in this bespoke made feminine master bedroom.

Structural preparation to create sleek contemporary details involved a recess for bespoke headboard to sit within, a set of niches to cradle the limited edition of fine art photography by Dominic Pote and a dropped ceiling for the curtain to sit within. The oversized ‘goal post’ style headboard was manufactured in a very specialist Birds Eye Maple veneer and upholstered in sumptuous velvets to create the perfect focal point. The bedside tables and drum coffee table were crafted with round corners to exude comfort.

The master ensuite is significantly enlarged and has become a seamless extension to the bedroom. The floating 2.5-metre-long vanity unit with antique mirror is a focal point which adds to the feel of spaciousness and tranquility whilst also providing optimum storage.
